“Home is the nicest word there is.”
― Laura Ingalls Wilder

This is a house I came by when I was cycling across Turkey, along the Black Sea. There was no one around the property and I had a slight feeling that it had been abandoned and left for nature to take over.  The climber plants have given this house a real sense of rustic beauty, sitting alone in the rolling fields, facing towards the Black Sea. I can only wonder about the family that once inhabited the house, and who had once called it their ‘home’.

Photo was taken using my iphone.
